In other news, a Chinese private company is now mass producing Mach 7 hypersonic missiles (HGV) with a range of 1,300 km, for the low low price of $99k. It's designed to fit into a standard cargo container.
The same company is also developing a reusable orbital class booster as well (note that the Falcon 9 booster velocity at stage separation is 2-3 km/sec (Mach 7 at re-entry during barge landings).
