I wanted to see what other implementations there are.</p>
<p dir="auto">And is there anything I should know before I implement it, that is not written in the docs?</p>

There's currently just the reference implementation, and I've not had time to fully document the protocol (we haven't secured our next grant yet, so I haven't been able to hire someone to help with with the specification writing).</p>
<p dir="auto">Are you intended to be a Data Producer or a Data Consumer? The main thing to remember about FediMod FIRES is that it's advisory and recommendations, not a prescriptive list. I'm more than happy to jump on a call to help you understand it better and answer any questions.</p>
<p dir="auto">As for running servers, currently I know of <a href="https://fires.1sland.social/" rel="nofollow ugc">https://fires.1sland.social/</a> which I think is running it's own UI on top (not 100% sure, it's <a href="https://activitypub.space/user/oli%40olifant.social" rel="nofollow ugc">@oli@olifant.social</a>'s deployment). Oli has also implemented in python the consumer side to some degree in FediBlockHole: <a href="https://github.com/eigenmagic/fediblockhole/pull/71" rel="nofollow ugc">https://github.com/eigenmagic/fediblockhole/pull/71</a> (I've done a review a few months ago)</p>
